Anxiety is a common feeling that everyone experiences; however, at times anxiety can be quite uncomfortable and distressing. Individuals generally describe anxiety as a time of worry, restlessness, and feeling fearful.
Anxiety may be related to fearing people, situations, objects, or expressed through panic like symptoms. Some bodily discomforts experienced during anxiety may include trembling, nausea, and feeling dizzy.
Generalised anxiety relates to continued excessive anxiety and worry about a number of events or activities. Social anxiety is the experience of fear for or in social situations. There are also other forms of anxiety related to obsessional thoughts and phobias.
